More Writing Coming Soon!

Hiya Peeps!

Long time no see. I'm back; sort of. At the end of last year, and for a most of this year so far, I figured I was done as an erotic author. I had absolutely no interest in writing sexy things, so I decided it was a good time to retire Clara Zaynn/Laila Fayre. I even deleted my Twitter account because I didn't want to give anyone false hope. My plan was to go back to my YA roots and rebrand myself; see ya, erotic writing! And that's sort of what happened, though it's still a major work in progress.

You see, I had been a professional writer for well over a year. I didn't have a day job, so to speak, because I had done really well with a trilogy of YA books I wrote a few years back. I figured there was enough traction as to where I'd still make enough money to call fiction writing my job. Yeah, no, didn't happen. I actually became Clara Zaynn because erotic writing has a history of being pretty lucrative on Amazon. Didn't prove true for me, but I kept at it because I loved writing the naughty stuff. After Steamy Punk Sleepover, however, I didn't care about writing anymore. (Though there was something else in there that was a major factor.)

I had to give up my dream of writing full time and reenter the workforce. I was working on Steamy Punk Sleepover while I started my new (seasonal) job, and I went pretty strong with it. When I published it, I was quite proud of that story, and I figured it would be no problem to keep writing. Problem was, I lost all momentum and enthusiasm for writing. Not just sexy stuff, but everything. And when I was finally done with my seasonal job a couple months later and ready to get into my full-time employment, I discovered I still wanted to write, but not erotica. So I "killed off" Clara Zayne (and by extension, Laila Fayre). Obviously, I left my books on Amazon, and a few people continue to enjoy the stories, but that was it.

I have a new plan of attack for my YA career, which I'm still hard at work on, but as I'm creating new worlds to write in, a funny thing happened: I missed writing smutty stuff. I didn't realize it, but all of the sudden, a few weeks ago, I cranked out a dark (violent and rapey) erotic story, with horror and science fiction undertones. I didn't sit down and get it all on the page in one sitting, as I was still very much rusty, but after a few days, I had a short story that will be a Laila Fayre short in a few weeks. I did post a bit about it on my new Twitter account (more on that in a minute), and I'll say more about it here as it gets closer to publication. I enjoyed the heck out of writing that story, so much so that I belted out a much nicer Clara Zaynn short not long after. And I had a blast writing both!

When I realized I wasn't done with my erotic writing, I went back to each of my titles and added a big chunk of advertising to the back, with links and descriptions of all my stories. I also, today, started a new Twitter account. I don't plan on using it much, as I get so addicted to social media that it takes time from my writing (especially now that I have a day job that takes up much of my time). Basically, I'm going to use Twitter to advertise my upcoming titles. I don't know how many people will see it, as I don't plan to be on it much, but I feel better having it. I may also post silly and otherwise things that I don't feel comfortable posting under my YA writing name. So you have that if you choose to follow me!

So what I'm saying in this long, rambling post is I'm back sort of. I won't be around much on social media (Twitter and this blog), but I will advertise when new stories are coming out. I have two blog posts coming up about my two newest titles, but, like I said, they are still at least a week away before I'm ready to unleash them. I will most likely post them later this week or next week.

The Babysitting Fun Series

On the heels of the release of His Hard Rockin' Princess (which you can read about here), I put out a collection of all six stories in the Babysitting Fun series. I've done nothing to the stories except put them all together in one easy-to-read collection and added a new cover (which is a variation on most of the original shorts). Hello Lovelies!

Yesterday on Twitter I teased that I'd be releasing the first five chapters of His Hard Rockin' Princess right here on this blog. That will indeed happen tomorrow! Today I want to give you the introduction and post the description of the story. I'm aiming for a Friday release, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, that will happen. Not much erotic in the first five chapters of this erotic romance, though chapter five does have some masturbation, though, so you can see some fun-time in this preview. The sex picks up in Ch. 7 with some spankings and sex, and then has plenty of sexual (and I hope you agree hot!) scenes after.

Hello My Lovelies!

As some of you have noticed on Twitter, I've posted a few lines from my upcoming novel, His Hard Rockin' Princess, as well as the cover. I'm finally ready to talk about it, and I'm so excited!

I've yet to write anything longer than 15K words, which is almost but not quite on the short end of the novella scale. This one is my first full-length novel, clocking in at around 75K words. It's an erotic romance (or romantic erotica if you prefer) about an ex-lead guitar player for a heavy metal band finding love with a girl a decade younger than him. Without even her knowing why, she attempts to turn him into a Daddy Dom of sorts, at least with the spankings. The problem is, he can't stand to cause anyone, especially her, any pain. He knows when he spanks her that she gets off on it, but he can't help but hate the situation, even as he grows more and more in love with her. There's plenty more to the story, but that's the heart of the conflict. These two are perfect for one another in every way except that, so is it big enough to tear them apart? Find out soon!

I wrote a trilogy of shorts called Festival Fun, Concert Chaos, and Viva Vegas all under the series title of His Hard Rockin' Princess. Those stories very much inspired this novel, though I did change quite a bit. Daddy-Daughter role play was the center of that trilogy, but in a much different way. I also changed the characters, some by fleshing them out quite a bit, and others, like my main male lead, by making entirely new people/characters. I decided I loved the name His Hard Rockin' Princess, since hard rock and heavy metal play a huge roll in the story (and, much to her, Elle's, delight, he, Tim, calls her his princess).

I had a great time writing this book. l fell in love with the characters, their situations, and everything. And since I love hard rock and heavy metal music, I had a ton of fun (maybe too much) coming up with various band names. I hope you'll give it a read and have as much fun reading as I did writing! And, as I said, it's an erotic romance, so there's plenty of hot sex. Makes it all the more fun, right?

I don't have a date of release yet, but I'm shooting for late this week, maybe early next. My revisions are almost done, which means it just needs to go through the final editing phases for unnecessary words and typos. I will be putting it out on Amazon, where I'll charge $2.99 or let you borrow it for free if you are a part of the Kindle Unlimited program, which, as I've said before, is practically a must if you love to read! I will also most likely create a paperback for it if you like to have physical books, though if I do choose to do that, it will be a few days later.

I also have another plan for this book. Sometime in the near future, I will bundle the three short stories that originally inspired the novel, as well as an epilogue that I loved but ultimately decided the book didn't need, into a package and put it up for sale not only on Amazon, but on Smashwords, as well. I will, of course, talk much more about that when the time comes for that release, but I wanted to get my plans out there, as I'm excited about them!

Yes, there's still plenty of hot sex (can you say glory hole action with big black cocks?), but I feel it's now more of an overall story. I hope you pick it up to see if you agree! I have a short coming out for Valentine's Day this year called "Happy Anti-Valentine's Day." I'm in the process now of finalizing the edits, and then I'll whisk it off to Amazon for you to read! Social Media Stories

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to give a heads-up that I've decided, at least a few times each week, to post short stories on social media. I'll be posting microstories (under 140 characters, obviously) on Twitter, and longer stories on Tumblr that are always (or at least usually) accompanied by a sexy (often pornographic, because fun!) pictures I find while browsing Tumblr. The pics won't be mine, just those I'm reblogging, but the words will be mine.

This one is called Viva Vegas, and is, as the title suggests, set in Las Vegas. As with the first two parts, the Daddy-Daughter role-play is front and center, but it also moves beyond that. I'll let you discover what I mean by that. Basically Ethan and Ella's relationship is evolving even further than it did in Concert Chaos. 

As with the other two stories, this one will be priced at 99 cents and be available for a free read for those enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. And finally, what did I mean that this will be the final story of the series but not really? Sometime in the future I plan to put all three stories together in one book. When I do, I will add a fourth part to the series that will only be available in that volume. I'm not sure exactly when that will come out, as I plan to focus on a few other stories first, but it will happen at some point. So if you can't get enough Ethan and Ella and their Daddy-Daughter role-play, take heart; you will get another story somewhere down the line. For now, I hope you enjoy Viva Vegas!

Welcome to my blog! I decided to start this to keep everyone up to date on my writing. So far I am simply creating short stories, not longer novellas and novels, though I do have future plans for stories of those length. 

As you can probably tell from the title of this blog and from the titles of my stories, I write erotic fiction. I like to write about graphic sex, but I also like to have romance involved. So far, my stories have been contemporary romantic erotica, though I plan to branch out into other erotic genres, such as horror, fantasy, steampunk, and more. In fact, I have an entire erotic steampunk series swimming around in my head that needs to come out some day.

You can see my books to either side of this. For now, at the time of this writing, I have my three stand alone stories to the right, and my two His Hard Rockin' Princess books to the left. (Part three, by the way, will be the next story I put out, sometime before the end of this month.) All my books are available on Amazon for the Kindle, and they're each available to read for free for anyone enrolled in the Kindle Unlimited program.
